A county that seems to always be sunny, Sussex has a marvellously varied landscape, from the rolling Downs to the craggy coast, as well as staggering architectural treasures. We will be staying in a private country house, which has never before taken groups. While there, we will be served by our very own chef as we enjoy a traditional grand country house party. Norfolk is a county of wide open spaces and grand country houses. We will enjoy privileged private access to many of the greatest houses and will be guests of a number of the ancient aristocratic families. We will enjoy a grand tour of some of northern England’s most stately houses and then some of Scotlands too. We will stay in an ancient Abbey, which once hosted the Duke of Wellington. In Scotland we will be guests of an aristocratic family in their castle. (2-6 guests)

We will enjoy very special tours of the two great university towns, Oxford and Cambridge, as well as some of the most historic and palatial houses in the South. (2-18 guests)
Delectable Derbyshire - 6 days
‘There is no finer county in England than Derbyshire’ - so wrote Jane Austen in 1811. Indeed, Derbyshire can calmly boast some of the most romantic scenery and grandest houses in Britain. We will stay in the heart of the famous ‘Peak District’ and will meet may of the grandest families and explore their ancestral homes. (2-18 guests)
British Interior Design - from Renaissance to Regency - 5 days
This five day tour provides a basis for the analysis and interpretation of British interior design from the Renaissance to the Regency period. Chronologically organised, the tours will highlight key interiors, architects, designers and movements. Visits to historic buildings will be accompanied by in-house experts. The course/tour provides a foundation in the history and development of the English interior from Henry VIII to George IV and is intended for those who are interested in the decorative arts and interior design. We will be staying in Syon House, the family home of the Dukes of Northumberland, and eating at Hotspur House, the home of interior designer Lady Caroline Percy. (2-12 guests)
